💎 The mines of diamond mainly are in Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa, Angola, Russia, Canada and Australia.
💎 The main hub of diamonds changes gradually. Once upon a time, India was main hub of Diamond. Somewhere in 1400s, our diamonds were mainly selling in Venice and other European countries. Later on, in 1700s, the supply of our diamond started decreasing and in 1800s, huge source of rough diamond was discovered in South Africa, meanwhile Brazil was becoming the main hub of diamond.
💎 The top 6 mine companies of world are D-Bears, ALROSA , Rio Tinto, DEBSWANA, Petra Diamond and Dominion. In the sense of volume, they produce more than 70% of total world production.
💎 Belgium, Israel, USA, India and China are main hub of diamond cutting and polishing. As per assumption, here mentioned first three countries of highly focusing on precious stone, having high manufacturing cost compared to India and China.
💎 The main centers of Diamond cutting and trading are, Surat (India), Antwerp (Belgium), London (UK), Newyork (USA), Tel Aviv (Israel) and Amsterdam (Netherland). More than 50% sharing of world production of Rough, polished and Industrial diamonds are trading through Antwerp.

💎 Diamond is highest valuable and famous since ancient time. The elarliest known reference of Diamond collection and Trading in India from 4th Century BC, in which “Kohinoor” diamond of India is world famous in history.
💎 Annually, India importing approximately $16 billion worth Natural rough diamond and exporting $20 billion worth cut and polished diamond. India is 3rd biggest country with 8% market share of diamond in the world.
💎The mining and production of rough diamond is negligible compare to total world mining. In India, Madhyapradesh and Chhatisgadh states are centre of mines.
💎 Indian diamond industry dealing with Rough diamond imports, Diamond cutting and polishing and Export of Loose natural polished diamond and Diamond studded jewelry.
💎 India is the world’s biggest hub of diamond cut and polishing. Surat is the main centre for Diamond Cut, process and polishing. As per assumption, 90% rough diamond of total world mines, are cutting and polishing in surat. There is more than 85% contribution of Surat in total diamond trading.
💎 Recently, ICEX has been established in India as world’s first diamond exchange under control of Security Exchange Board of India (SEBI), due to Diamond considered under commodity with support of Indian government. There is possibility of unlimited market, safe and transparent transaction.
